Check engine light

My check engine light was on due to a miss fire on #4 cylinder. I found a bad plug so I replaced them all. Does anybody know if the light will go out after so many good starts or will I need to get it reset?

You will need to reset the computer to clear the code..

You can reset it by disconnetcing the negitive battery cable for 15 min.

Was the CEL flashing or was it on steady? When I had a misfire the CEL would flash three times stop then flash then stop.

If it was flashing you shouldn't need to reset it.

If I was doing city driving it was steady, but if I was on the freeway than it would flash.
