hmmm...... why is it that those flames look soooo familiar? sniff, sniff, i smell drew's involvment.lol

how'd you do that? lol. sure does look good though, i can't wait to see some more pics. glad the install went well too!

looks good....... and i do think i have seen that grille somewhere before..... but i cant recall the white exploder with a 5.0 it was on ;)

So, both of you made yours, right? My friend says he's seen grilles like those in magazines and that hes gonna get one. I have yet to see what hes talking about or where hes seeing it.

the grilles your friend is talking about is the actual grill that is shaped in flames. the "drew grill" is flames painted on a net that goes behind your existing grill. the flamed grills your friend is talking about is in any ad in any sport truck mag. they, of course, are offered for every vehicle except the explorer.

What is a place online that I can see one?

those things are hideous... and thats coming from a guy who really loves flames of all kinds on vehicles. i just don't understand the grilles (be it the flamed ones like that, or the american flag one, or the tribal ones) that don't effectively clean up the lines of a truck. for me that is the main purpose of the grille and those ones do not effectively do so. nnnick's grille, however, does because at a distance it just looks like a clean billet, but if you get closer and or take a second careful look you can see the flames.

I like those grilles.

that is one of the best signatures i've read in a while. :D :D :) :D :D

and welcome to the site. (i know you have 16 posts, but i've never seen ya before)
