how do these prices look. and these will all fit on my stock teardrop 15's right? also throw in your opinions on which ones you like the best. i'm not really an off-roader, just looking for a smooth riding, bigger looking tire.

ok, i updated the site. i had it typed in for ford explorers and it only gave me 8 selections. now i just typed in 31x10.5x15 and it gave me a ton more.

I like the first ones the best. :D

Okay.. what site?

wow. i must be losing my mind. i tell you to check out a site and then forget to post it.

Of those, Pirelli ATs.

Bridgestone Dueler M/T look the best to me. I got my 32" BFG MTs for $2 more a tire though..

I bet you could find a better deal.

if duying them from tirerack, DO NOT mention they ar egoing on a ford explorer... they will not sell them to you... they will feed you a line of bs how it isnt allowed, and how its unsafe, blah, blah, blah

i think the bridgestone ones might be a little too off -road for what i'm looking for.

r u serious? what should i say if they do ask? if i did get them, i'm just gonna fill out an order form and shut my mouth. but if they email me asking what they are for, what bs should i hit them with? i have bought rims for my accord through this co. before and had no problem even though they were 2 sizes to big.

Tell them theyre for your T*y*ta Tac*ma! :D They want nothing to do with Explorers..

yes, but did accord roll over becuase a stupid driver had a blowout with it?

i hear what your sayin loud and clear. i guess us explorers will have a bad rap forever b/c of that crap.

Bum Rap

No joke. That whole tire blowout thing just gets me. Firestone tried to pin it on Ford, right? Well, people also have the same tires on Bl*z*rs and other SUV's, right? They also have shown blowout statistics on these vehicles too. The Explorer just so happens to be the best-selling SUV and there are tons more of them on the road. So which company gets blamed?...Ford. Wouldn't it make sense that because their are so many more Explorers on the road, there would be more blowouts in Explorers? I certainly think so. Wasn't it Car & Driver or Motor Trend that did tests on an Explorer to see how stable it was with a blowout? The Explorer passed the test with flying colors! I think the whole thing is a bunch of BS.
Sorry to hijack your thread, but I had to state my opinion. Someone please tell me if I'm wrong.
As far as the tires, I've heard good things about the Dueler M/T.

Rob

Honestly, you should check out Michelins. They are a little bit more money, but worth every penny.

Michelins. 'Nuf said.

y eah i did hear michelins have a real comfortable ride. but do you know any sites that sell them at a fair price. they go for at least $115 ea. andup. i'll pay it if i have to but it would be cool to getem a little cheaper.

I still say the Pirelli ATs ;)

How do the Pirellis wear compared to other for 80% street driven?

Probably about the same as most for treadwear, maybe a bit less than the Michelins.

I just hear great reviews of the Pirellis on highway and off. They're a great all-around tire and are referred to as high performance street tires that can hold their own offroad.

Thanks... I love my Michelins but when I go to 30s, I'm considering Pirellis
