Ok!
So I am driving to get a new rear wiper for my 97 SOHC and I pull up at this place where I go for most of my car spares. Anyways I am just taking the wiper of my explorer when I smell gas! I mean it was strong, and there was only one other car in sight and it could not of been that. Anyways I took a look under my x and sure enough there was a huge puddle of gas!
Anyways I told the store about it and they sent 4 of their guys out to help me as it was really coming out bad! ……. Anyways it turns out my fuel hose/line had come disconnected so they just found another tightening hose clip and put it back together!!! But I mean come on!!! What’s up with that, your just driving along and then your fuel line disconnects….. GO FORD!!!! Now I know why we call them exploders, I could be dead right now

It's not Ford's fault... People call them Exploders because it's easy to replace the R with a D. Any car will be made fun of if it's easy enough.

A fuel line can become loose on any car. Glad you're ok and got it fixed.

i love my explorer but i lost a lot of gas today

Same thing happened to my mom in her 2002 Trailblazer. Be glad you didn't lose the whole tank like she did and have to get it towed to the dealer to get it fixed.
