making a hood
I have a 91 X with a hood like that. I just got that sylt hood scoop from JC Whitney, cut a hole to fit the scoop, riveted it putting the scoop in from the bottom of the hood, sanded, bondoed, then painted. It wasn't that hard, just time consuming. I spent about 40 hours getting it to look just right.
