check your fog light assembly mount

i was looking at my fog lights the other day outside of my 97' ex and i noticed one was brighter than the other. i find that one was replaced and the other was filled with dirt b/c i guess the seals suck on these lights. i took the fog lamp off and i was inspecting the mount on the light itself and the tabs the metal sits in to hold the fog light was severly rusted and the layered rist broke the mounts. i currently plastic cemented it back together but tomarrow i am going on a search for a new light(not from ford, too expensive).

I had the same problem with the driver side. Be for warned that if you ask about this part from any junkyard they will make you buy the whole bumper.

Now i don't condone stealing, but given the hard economic times i would suggest that you look for a pick and pull yard and grab one or two small cheap things. Then just show them the stuff. They will only charge you a few bucks for it. I managed to find one on a friends EXp that was totaled. he let me get both of them.

im not sure what im gonna do yet. my dad said he knows a guy from ford and might be able to get one, but doent know how much it will be. im not sure what im gonna do at this point.

The used lights on eBay may be the cheapest option other than a local yard.
