Checking codes for abs

Does anyone know how to get the codes from the abs. I have tried to ground the plug but it doesnt do anything. Both my abs and brake light are on. Is there a way to check and see why the brake light is on, like checking the computer, or is there a seperate connector somewhere like the abs computer?

You need a scan tool that will read ABS codes, most of them won't. There are only a few that will read that code, and they typically are pretty expensive.

even though i have a 92, one of my dads workers has a scan tool that cost him $2500 will this work?

As long as it will read OBD I vehicles (and ABS code), yep it should work.
