Sonny check out the link in one of the previous posts that shows you what it looks like just take the cover off under the ingition to get to it I had the same problem and my wire had a lose connection I think it was a blue wire I just wiggled it and it has been fine sence I think the wire gets lose after a while because of putting the tilt wheel up n down anyway open up that cover and that should correct the problem.

According to my Service CD the key on warning is set off by grounding the black wire with the pink stripe to the key on circuit. If you can't/don't want figure out what is causing it you could cut and isolate this wire, and I think it would solve your problem. You would still get your lights on warning.

Heres some wiring info for the whole thing:
The warning chime/buzzer sounds when the driver's door is open with the key in the ignition switch lock cylinder (11582), and continues to sound until the key is removed or the door is closed. When the key is in the ignition switch lock cylinder, the key-in-ignition switch is closed and ground is supplied to the warning chime/buzzer module through Circuit 158 (BK/PK). When the driver door is open, the driver door courtesy lamp switch (13713) is closed and power is supplied to the module through Circuit 159 (R/PK).

Thank you, this was the exact problem with mine also. I removed the 3 screws on the bottom of the plastic shroud and unscrewed the tilt lever and there it was. The blue connector was not in the correct position. I repositioned it and The Chime was gone, comes on now when lights on or key in.

Thanks again to everyone for the help.
Sonny
