Chrome grille

Hi guy,

would like to put a chrome grille insert into our Dark Highland Green '02 XLS. Cannot remember which version got the grille chrome plated, was it the Limited?

I believe all Explorers in '03-'05 had a chrome grill except for the XLS. So it should be easy to find one

Thank you for the hint. Checked 02 and there are only grey and silver grills.

2004 XLT/EB/Ltd have chromed grilles, so I will order a 2004 insert.

My 03 XLT was chrome.

I thought the EB's were painted satin gold?

Joe is correct EB is painted satin gold...if remember serves i don't recall seeing an 04 EB when i was looking for one with chrome grill (from the factory at least)..could be wrong?

Dear @all,

seems Ford used different grille finishes in different years. Anyway, I'm going to order a '04 'Chrome Grill' from the blue oval guys.
