i say CHROME!!! would go better with your grill then black

if wanting sporty, i would say get your hands on steps from a second gen or later or a body kit...... nerf bars in my opinion look like crap on anything

My X looks exactly like your's and I have black. The look really good. But if you have a billet grill the chrome might look better. I like the look of nerf bars a lot better than runningboard-style steps because they offer the same functionality but don't seem to hinder your ground clearance as much. Running boards (those steps that are fitted to the body are essentially better looking running boards) make the car look lower to the ground, more soccer-mom-y. If you need steps, nerf bars look tougher, more off-road-y. What look are you going for? A beefier, more aggressive X (offroad look)? Or a lower, tamer X (street look)?

yeah a street look basicly...

As long as you don't paint your bumpers and the chrome on it now, I say chrome. If it's a stock look, or has chrome on it already it will fit that theme better than a black one would. I like the chrome look on most of the X's with your color.
