Chrome Wheels

hi,my standard ex chrome wheels seem to look like they have covers on (chrome bit)....do these come apart so i can get these rechromed..

I think they are stuck on with super sticky stuff! You can't buy them seperatly from the wheels either!!!

not seen them either,we have the ones that look like chrome propellers,there steel,but with a thin chrome cover attached at the factory.

out of the 3 types i like the tear drop alloys, no 1 seems to sell em on ebay local to me

mine dont seem to have a chrome cover on them but then mine do seem differant to most of the ex's ive seen i think they must have changed them over here fom a 1998 onwards

and the teardrop style

and then there's the northface 5 spoke style

hi i think its stainless steel stuck to the wheels. if you try to remove it will bend real easy. but it shuldnt be rusty. rust might have come from steel wheels try cleaning with metal polish. cheers chris

Wow! If you have a chance, let's see a pic of that... It sounds similar to the spoked rims here that peel.
