I have been looking all over for chrome window trim to go over the black rubber on the bottom of the window, between the window and door like the Lincoln Aviator. I have seen Explorers with it but do not have any idea where to get some. If anyone knows, PLEASE email me, logan33@atlantic.net thanks.

Sorry to dig up an old thread, but this was all I could find regarding window trim (and not the pillar trim).

I basically want to do the opposite of the OP. Replace my aviator chrome trim with black trim, but the service manual is TERSE when it comes to removal and replacement. I'm wondering if anybody knows how hard this is to do.

I'm going to have the door panels off to do new speakers anyway, so I figure why not.

Based on the order, it looks like you have to pull the window/assembly to get to them, wondering if there's a way to just do the outer trim without pulling everything out of the door first.

It's not the pillar trim, it's the big chrome line at the base of the windows. After I ditch the roof rack, this will be the last big chrome thing.
