I have a 98 Explorer XLT with a KKN Intake. I seem to have trouble when i pushed the accelerator... it seems sluggish and not as peppy as usual. At times i will put it in Park and it will putter and go down to about 500 rpm then stall. This is obviously not normal. It was even doing this when the stock intake was in. I have a feeling that the Air flow sensor is creating this problem. How do i clean the sensor without screwing anything up?

Lots of good threads on the subject. The search button is your friend not only here, but on any messageboard.

Cleaning the IAC would be a good start, and it wouldn't hurt anything to clean the MAF either.
