cant find these exact ones on ebay but i found the black ones and i think ill have them

yea i had thought about getting clear myself. but ill never find the clear taillights so im ditching the clear parking lights/corners back to amber so i got amber roof lights

nice and bright. pic wasnt taken for its brightness, just for them being on without being blown out completely

no theyre solar powered and will just "know" when the parking lights come on. lol

yes, 2 holes for screws and a larger hole for the wires. i know know why i didnt take pics of all that crap :/

idk, yours don't seem that bad... I wanna see daylight pics.

Yeah btw, that is one of the many reasons not to do a body lift.

Do they make those in clear?

I think it would have looked more unusual in a futuristic kind of way with clear front lights and clear clearance lights, that lit up amber.

But I think the clear lights look the best on white vehicles.

You don't need clear tails just because you would have had clear corners and clearance lights. They never made a clear third brake light, so even those with clear tails still aren't all clear...and anyway they need red reflectors to be legal, though I don't think it's worth the hassle.

If you wanted more of a modern service vehicle kind of look, though, the factory amber lights along with the amber clearance lights certainly do it. You could always throw on the clear corner reflector to make it look slightly odd, since they did it with the F-150s and some super dutys:

Only works if you have the regular ones though, not the cheesy "diamond" clears.

yea, thats where a custom 3rd brake wouldve come in at. but... the tails i saw are normal style and clear, and all the clear fronts are diamond so they never wouldve matched. its just more work to get all clear and matched up to the same style then it is to go amber/red.
i did have very small strips of amber reflective tape taped to my clear corners tho so itd be more legal lol

If you want to test how many amps they draw, connect them to the negative post on your multimeter and the positive post on your multimeter to the battery, with your multimeter set to DC amps. Or if you have the style with a clamp, just test using the clamps. Negative wire on the light goes to ground of course....

That is quite a bit considering you are talking about LEDs. Over 1 watt per module, including resistance of the circuitry and all that, probably 1 watt per module.... Quite a lot for LEDs, each module is probably making 70-80 lumens. Just as much light as you would see from one with a regular incandescent 194 bulb. They seem like pretty stout and large modules, I'm sure heat won't be a problem. Are the bases aluminum?
