just replaced serpentine belt tensioner, and belt (tensioner came apart) now the tensioner makes a clicking noise at idle, any ideas or remedies for such situation,(bad tensioner?)
Look for a frayed belt, a belt not completely on the pulley, or something stuck to a pulley. Does the clicking get faster when you rev the engine? Or does it go away?
