I noticed this the other day... when i either stop the gas while in a lower gear or if i try to powerbrake i hear a clicking noise from the rear of the truck. A high pitched metal on metal type of click i guess you could say. I was thinking either wheel bearings, u-joints, or my rear end gears. Any input??

high pitched clicking sounds like worn down or out of adjustment rear brakes.

Really? Hmmm... I did the brakes about 20K ago. I replace the shoes, springs, cylinder, adjuster, and got the drums machined. Should I take the drum off and see how tight/loose it is? Would the clicking be because of the brakes being too loose or too tight?

Thanks
Chris
