Clicking Noise inside Dashboard

it is a sharp crack sound like a cd cracking but very faint. When it does make the noise it is quick. A bit like a hamster chewing on plastic.

Since it doesn't happen with the climate off, is it possible it is just an expansion type noise? When it does happen is it at random times during your trip or about the same time period during the drive? These types of issues can be difficult to pinpoint.

It may be the plastic popping. Very strang.
