Everytime I turn left and at the same time I accelerate when turning I get this clicking claking noise coming from the middle of my 1998 Explorer. Can anyone out there help me. I have taken it to many different shops and everyone has a different answer. I have replaced the right cv axle. Ford tells me it's the transfer case, but I'm not convinced it is, if it's the transfer case I would think that noise would be there no matter which way I turn. I had someone tell me u joint, but I'm not getting a clunk when I shift into reverse or drive. All I am getting is a noise that is hard to describe and hard to pin point where exactly it's coming from. I hear the noise inside the explorer and it sounds like the middle, but I'm not sure. Please Please help I can't keep replacing parts that don't need to be replaced.
