Clicking problem when air turned on

Too bad I didn't have my ex while there was 2 ft of snow on the ground. That's my only negative part of the whole ordeal.

There is provably over $300 in parts and the rest labor which isn't bad. If you waited till summer the price goes up dramatically. You may have extended the life of the old compressor but I don't know for how long. It seems like our compressors only last about 100k miles any way. I might keep your guys on a list of trusted mechanics as many are seedy.

Mine clicks until the engine warms up. I better look into that.

If it's clicking when cold I'd check the amount of freon. Seems to be a common problem when low.

BTW the same place said that my right upper ball joint is a little loose. I just replaced it this summer with a moog control arm+ball joint. I'm guessing that this is covered in warranty and since I'd have to replace the UCA I'd need a new alignment too. Is that usually covered in warranties in all of your experiences?

The alignment is provably the cause of the premature failure. Most parts stores have your warranty info on file. They will most likely cooperate with you avoiding losing you as a potential lifetime customer.

I got it aligned as soon as I replaced both control arms. I called advanced auto and they can replace the control arm at no charge but the alignment is in my hands. It just sucks that it'll be another $60 for a defect by moog. I guess it gives me a the reason I had been needing to lower it and not not worry about the re-alignment costs since it'll be needed anyways...

Ya know what those grease fittings are for? (jokingly)
