??cliking/knocking/grinding from front end??

When i make some turns and go slowly over some bumps, i hear a cliking/knocking/grinding sound comming from my front end. its been doing this for awhile now, im wondering if it has happened to any other people and what they did about it.

where is the balljoint? whould it be hard to replace? how much would it cost?
