Climate control instrument cluster? Blowor motor. Radio harness

A few things here
Can somebody tell me which fuse controls the lamp for the lower right portion of the climate control cluster (buttons that read pnl/flr, flr, flr/def, and def) ? Also, the blower motor doesn't go. It would work off and on the first week I had the vehicle but not no more. What are the proper steps to troubleshoot this? It works in the back but doesn't blow to the desired temp but that could be related to the front blower not going?

Furthermore, is the wiring (as seen in photo below) the stock harness or is this an aftermarket job?

not sure baout fuses etc, but the harnesses look stock to me! at least my radio ahrnesses look the same color scheme, taping, etc etc

It is unlikely that there is a separate fuse for just that, rather a bulb went out or mechanical issue like circuit board crack (considering this is right where buttons are being pressed and potentially flexing the circuit board).

The speed controller mounted on the firewall (in engine bay) is a common fault. Be aware that there is the so called "resistor" module when it is manual climate control, but for your EATC automatic climate control it is a different part #, transistor(ized) module. It could be the console head unit instead, or wiring/connector, or the fan motor itself.

I've attached the '99 Workshop Manual, relevant section and some EATC schematics and pinouts though these are for a '96... not sure if they've changed between then and '00.

All else fails, you just grab a multimeter and measure for where power stops along the circuit path... for both the fan operation, and the bulb(s) in the head unit.

Wiring looks stock to me, why would it be aftermarket? Exporer EB's tended to come with the EATC feature so would already have the right wiring harness.
