Will the climate control from an EB or Ltd adapt to an XLT?

Whatt is involved?

Are you talking about the digital EATC?

It will swap in, but its an involved process, requring many sensors and lots of wiring. It's not plug and play.

I'm currently gathering parts for the swap, and there are some great writeups out there such as this one:

A very interesting read. Appears to be more work than I want to attempt now though.

Are there any of the digital climate controls that don't have the automatic temp. adjustment? So it wouldn't need all of the sensors and such. Basically one that works like the manual standard HVAC controls but is digital?

Lots of work, but definetely looks worth it. I'm doing the swap in May when I get out of school and have time to rip my truck apart. I'll have pics up and all that but like Aaron said, John's writeup on Cardomain is such a great help. I can't wait to do this mod!
