I have the knob style climate control and matching connectors in my possesion.

I would like to rewire it to get ride of the digital control. Some of the wires are the same, some aren't. How do I go about this? What wires match up to what? Thank you.

Its a little more involved than a simple rewire. You are gonna need to go to a junkyard to get everything from an EATC equipped Explorer or Mountaineer. You will need: EATC head unit, cabin temp sensor, sunload sensor, outside ambient sensor, blend door actuator, and blower resistor. You will also need the wiring harness or at least pieces of the harness that are connected to what I just listed.

I just went to the junkyard last week and picked up everything i need for the swap. Got it all for $50. Oh yea, here is a link to a great write up on the conversion: http://www.cardomain.com/ride/296394/14

Actually, he wants to go the other way (from EATC TO manual...)

Read through the thread he posted and do the opposite. :)

I read it and I understand and at the same time I don't. Is there another writeup?

Go to the junk yard and get the dash wiring and engine bay wiring, blend door actuator, and blow motor resistor. You'll also loose the message center.

I'm going FROM Digital TO Manual. I still need this?
