Recently purchased my Explorer and with the Date Change- I found I can't get the clock to reset ahead 1 hour. It has a factory AM/FM with Cassette player. The button marked CLK is the one I assume to be the clock button. Is there a "procedure" to follow?

Also, the keypad lock on the driver's door - anybody know where I can find the info in the Explorer. Was told by a parts man at Ford shop that it might be printed on a piece of white tape under the Driver's dash - but I couldn't find it.

Any help would be appreciated greatly!

the code for my keypad was on a tag in the back where the rear washer fluid tank and jack are. Its a 5 digit number. its printed on a tag on a something back in there almost outta sight, i needed a flash light and a mirror but it was not hard.

Thanks Sport97 - I'll check it out right now !

Press and hold the "CLK" button, while using the SEEK button to move the hour.
Pressing SEEK to the right moves the hour up.

Thanks for the move Brooklyn, wasn't sure where to ask.;)

Got the clock time changed, Jackal. Thanks for the info.

Couldn't find the tag with the "keypad" lock, so I figure I'm going to have to go to the Ford House to get it.:exp:

Remove the cover for the jack compartment in the rear driver side--

Under the plastic trim part--look forward to front of truck
you'll see a silver box with a bunch of wires hooked to it--

This is the box with the numbers on it you need

it is a 5 digit code--

Found the box, but the numbers have faded. Appreciate the help and info, Folks. But, looks like I'm gonna have to shell out a few bucks to get it - or just plain not use it:(.

BTW - if I could get the module lose from the frame work - I might be able to decipher the numbers a mite easier. Any thoughts on doing this?

Hi jail :p:
try using your camera, I took a pic inside of my 97 and it made it kinda easier

Welcome to the foum BTW
