when i put in my 4 wheel drive, and start to move at say 25mph i get a clunk/bang every 20-30 ft. so what broke now?

yup... i had that also, in mine the 4x4 hadnt been used in a few years so when i went to try it i could hear it engage but my wheels werent spinning, i could just hear the clunking every little bit, so i had it checked out at Les Schwab and they told me it had to be my hubs so i got rid of the stock autos and got manuals works fine now. im not sure if this is the same deal but it might be something you want to look into, just jack your truck up and engage the 4x4 and se if the wheels are spinning.

hope this helps.

some clunking in 4x4 is normal. Even if you're off-road. If you're on dry pavement it's definitely gonna clunk.

You may of course have bad hubs but don't think a few clunks means its broken...
