clunking noise in 4wd

I have just had my tranny rebuilt but have noticec that when put in 4 wd auto the front end makes a load clunking and scraping sound when turning. any help would be appreciated

Any flashing 4x4 lights??? Sounds like that may be the 4x4 kicking in when their is no slip. Could be the GEM needs reprogramming, the speed sensors are bad, or the T/F case is "locked" for some reason.

I am not sure when they switched the front axles to cv joints. But if you had u-joints that could be the problem.
