clunking noise in reverse

When I give my 03 xlt v8 gas in reverse, I hear a loud "clunking" noise from under it. Sounds like it's coming from somewhere on the back half of the truck. Could it be the rear end, tranny, u-joint maybe? I've also heard of problems with the slip yokes on previous models.

It could be anything really, but the slip yoke would be the first thing I'd look at.
