Code P0401

egr flow insuffient. Where would be the best place to start looking for the problem? I haven't messed with a lot of smog stuff.

Do you have the late 96 engine in your rig? Better yet, does yours have an egr tube or is it internal?

It must be a late 96 as it did not have the egr tube (thank God). I took the egr off because it was not working with vacuum on it. It was stuck closed. I got it unstuck and cleaned it out and it worked fine. I have drove it about 15 miles so I guess it is too early to tell if it will kick a cel yet. Keeping my fingers crossed.
