HI everyone. I have a '98 Explorer XLT AWD with the V8. The check engine light is on and the OBD II is giving me a code of P0401, which is EGR Flow Insufficient. I have replaced the rear cats, as they had a hole in them, and the EGR valve. This did not fix the problem. Any help as to what else it may be would be appreciated.

This could well be the DPFE sensor.

Thank You

thanks, i'll be sure to try that.

I had this problem also and it ended up being a cracked EGR TUBE. I noticed it broke when I change the headers. I thought it was a cracked manifold but ended up being that. I had to change the Egr tube when I went to Torque Monster headers.

Thank you for the reply. It was the dpfe sensor. Definitely saved me a lot of time and money!
