For the last two weeks I've had an intermittent "Service Engine Soon" light on my 2002 Explorer. I went to AutoZone and they pulled the code. It was P1400 "DPFE EGR Circuit Low Input". They weren't sure what it meant and said call Ford. I figured I'd asked the experts here. Should I replace the DPFE? If so, where exactly is it? Also, I was rear-ended a few weeks ago (very low-speed), could it have triggered this? I didn't notice any damage to the exhaust. Thanks.
