Coil Spacer Questions 02 Explorer

I'm looking into giving my 02 Explorer a 1.5-2in lift overall. Enough to increase ground clearance to have more fun on occasional trips the mountains.

From what I read that's about a 1in rear 1.25 front spacer.

Aside from installing the spacers themselves and getting an alignment, what else would I have to do to keep everything working well? Would improved control arms or other components be essential in a mild lift?

I'm not trying to spend a fortune but I'd be willing to spend 150-200 $ and my time for this. Just trying to see what I'd be getting into going into this project.

I personally wouldn't be too concerned about upgrading to better upper control arms. Not with only that small height. I would replace the uppers just so their new but I wouldn't be concerned. They can be a pain to replace though but I think its worth it in the end.
