COIL SPRING SPACERS?? IS THAT WHAT THEY ARE

I was at autozone the other day and i saw these things that go inbetween the springs and you turn them and i guess that they push the springs apart to maybe lift it or something??? anyone know what they actually do or if they are any good the package say maximum lift 1 1/2 in. and would they do anything on my x stock
 






You're better off getting the F150 spring spacers. They're different in that they are a cast chunk of metal that the spring sit on. It doesn't affect the working of the spring. The thing I think you are talking about simply seperates some of the coils to make the whole unit taller. This makes the spring ride poorly.
 






Would they help a sagging spring?
 






Yes, I guess that's what they're really for.
