Ok for you guys that have coil spacers do they go on the bottom or top or the coil spring? I found some made by Daystar but they only list them j**ps does any body know how similar the coils on either chreokees or the new wrenglers are to the one on explorers? Also how bad do these spacers throw off the camber angles and the toe. Is It alineable and does it drive the same? thanks for the help.

Robbie,

Coil spacers for the TTB are different than for a j**p. I don't think you can put a spacer between the top of the spring and the coil tower (it doesn't look safe or strong to me)

The coil spacers I am using are made by Superlift, and are 1/4" steel plate. These go at the bottom of the spring, and you can use up to 3 - 2 between the upper radius arm bolt and the radius arm, and the third on top of the other 2, around the bolt head. 3 spacers give you just over an inch of lift.

Usually after installation, the truck is alignable (there may be problems in *extreme* situations), although they might need to replace the camber bushings. Also, if you add or remove spaces, you must get the truck aligned. Any work on the front end can through off the alignment.

I got my coil spacers from Superlift since there sorrs a** springs settled so muc after the lift. They have two models, can't remember the part numbers, but one has a hex hole and the other has a smaller round hole. You need two hex hole types per side to clear the studs bolt and then round ones after that. They go in the bottom of the coil. Hope this helps.
