2002 Ford Explorer XLT
I try to make this short. I’ve had a 2002 Ford Explorer XlT for about 2 years and have wanted to lift it ever since I purchased it. But I’ve looked around and read a bit, and no one sells lift kits for them, and everyone says don’t try to lift them. So long story short, would longer coils, shocks and control arms do the trick for a lift? Or would another approach be best? I’m looking for any information anyone can give.
Thank you!

Here’s mine, 3” Body Lift, 2” Spacer Lift, 265/75/16 Tires.

Going to need some good tools, and a bit of patience. Body lift was a pain in the butt, but well worth it. There’s a link in my signature for the body lift install, and a spacer lift is pretty straight forward, like changing the struts.

How many miles on your shocks and springs?

I replaced my stock ones at 200K miles and it lifted the front end 3” and the rear end 1”!

For reference:
Measuring from under the top arch of the fenderwell (stock tires at 35 psi) on my 05 XLT 4wd measured 34” at all 4 corners with new stock height shocks and springs.

This should help you decide the ride height you want compared to stock.
