I was wondering if you guys ever run into problems with emission testing?

I was planning on adding a K&N Fpik and a Flowmaster exhaust. I know that there 50 state smog legal but that doesn't mean anything here in canada.

Do you think i would run into issues?

I had a fairly recent air care test done on my 99 sport and didn't have a problem. I had a custom exhaust and a cheap cone filter+adapter installed at that time (long since removed)

Anyway, aircare testing stations here in BC did not even open the hood. They just placed the probe (sniffer) on the tailpipe, checked if the cats were removed or altered and then hooked up the OBD plug. 10 minutes later - testing was over and everything passed

The colder your intake air the better your emissions will be. You shouldn't have any problems passing the actual emissions test.
