I don't believe that was an available option back in 95... It mighta started around 00... I know my mom's 00 EB doesnt have them, but it was an option, where as my dads 02 limited does have them
Pete

If you don't see a heated seat button then you don't have it ;)

Ford didn't add the heated seats option until '99. My aunt's '99 Limited has them and they're pretty good.

Sidetrack a little bit, I was at an auto show last weekend and sat in a Lexus LS430. That car had butt coolers!! It was awesome!!! My leg and butt felt cold when I left the car. Here's the awesome part, the back seats has controls to the radio, a/c, butt warmers, power recline with memory settings, and MASSAGERS!!!! That thing is NICE!!!!

Added Options

Can you easily add Heated seats so an X?

Also, I would like to put Heated mirrors and the blinker thing on the mirrors??

Anyone know where you can get them. I've seen them separate, but not together.

Daniel, the seats in my '93 ltd are modded to heated. The kit I purchased is made in your province. The wiring is hooked to the power seat, my only drawback is it is always live, not timed out, straight rocker switch, but the install wasn't hard. I must admit I didn't do it myself since my friend owns a couple van and truck worlds and did it for an incredible price, almost no labour charge. I can try and get more info if you like. Send me an e-mail.

Can you order it? How much?

Haha...Stephen, you should get me one too while you're at it. I've heard you can get larger discounts when you get more than one. ;)

Ohhh heated seats would be soo nice here in NE, seeing as how when I leave for school in the mornings it has been in the 20's... and its only late october, early november... I miss my 93 volvo 240... that car wasn't very impressive with its content, but it DID have heated cloth seats.

Hey Billy (96explorereddiebauer) did you know the Navigators have the heated and COOLED seats as well as an option. They've had it for a few years now and they are awesome. The new Aviator will have it as an option as well.

Shawn

if you guys like the feeling of a wet butt then go for cooled seats if you don't like that feeling it will take some getting used to.

Where to get after market

Where can this add-on kits be found???

Yup! Sure do. I probably might look into the Aviators because the Navigator is simply too big for me. But then again, I'll look into the Aviators when I have the money, which I have absolutely none of. :p

The '03 Expedition also has heated and cooled seats.

The heated signal mirros can be bought from Muth. www.kwmuth.com

What's the scoop on the aftermarket seat heaters??? I would like a set for both my X and Focus.

Tim

03 Expedition seats

I believe that the seats are an option a I am pretty sure the one I drove the other day did not have them in it but it was only a base XLT

Ya my mom's 02 745Li has the cooled and heated seats with three different intensity levels as well as the massagers. Ha it also has the "convenience package," which, for $1200, means you can close the trunk with the push of a button. Quite a waste if you ask me.

bit off the subject but...

Hummer (I believe its the H2) has a $10,000 option. Can you belive that??

What is it you ask.....?

It turns your whole fron windshield into "night vision" mode. I think it uses thermal sencing. Not 100% sure.

Can you belive that one. I would just like to touch the button for that :D:D:D Imagine flipping on a $10,000 option. OH OH OH... :D

Can you imagine if the switch fails :) I would cry, thinking it's broke.
