Cold weather idle stall

I have a 1999 eddie bauer, lately its been cold and the engine doesnt seem to say at idle until the engine warms up. I think it's idle control unit. i want to do it myself, but dont know where it is or if its hard. does anyone have a engine diagram for a 4.0 V6? or has done this? : :exp:

Idle Air Control Valve (IACV)

Hi RickyB,

Search the fora for "IAC" or "IACV." I'm about to replace mine. I have a '99 Sport, and I just pulled it an cleaned it last week. It was filthy, but from what I hear, it's better just to replace them, especially since they run about $40 at most parts stores.
