I was retro fitting my 87 2.9 liter 4x4 air. I just bought it and the air wasn't working. After removing the old freaon I noticed that the compressor was not coming on so I could refill the system. The light is on the switch and the fuse is good...also the compressor does not seem to be locked up. I tried running 12 volts to the hot side and its like a dead short. Is it the compressor or a bad relay or switch??
