Control Arm Bushings

Hello-

I have a '97 Mountineer with about 130,00 miles. Bought it with 50K in about 1999 - and have had no major problems.

Time has come for some front end work. I have determined the the lower ball joints need replacing.

Question - What method/test do you use to determine if the control arm bushings need to be replaced as well. My thanks in advance.

Welcome to the site.
There is lot of great information here if you search.
Take a look at this link, it should answer your question, and also help you to do it yourself, for a lot cheaper that taking it to a mechanic to have it done.
