To make a long story short: When I put my coolant under pressure I have coolant shooting out of my engine on the drivers side where the silverish metal that the thermostat housing bolts to and the engine block. It is definitely where two metals mate and not a gasket.

Is this a cracked block?

Can I weld it or use some form of epoxy to fix the leak?

try a new gasket and go from there.
As long as you have it open toss in a new t-stat

are you sure it not the intak gasket there? my 93 used to seep thought it was the thermostate gasket until it finally blew out
