Tips on flushing oil/coolant mix out of engine?

1996 Explorer 4.0 4x4 2dr
Just looking for tips on a way to get this thick white gunk (oil & coolant mix) out of my engine. Thinking #2 fuel oil or kerosene. Had a major coolant leak into my oil. Haven't found cause yet but if it can be corrected it would be easier than swapping in my spare engine.
