so my guage reads hot. in the mornings when i start the truck its only at half way. so i just assumed that the guage was bunk. just dont seem hot. then yesturday at walmart i noticed a very very small drip coming from under the car then once i poped the hood i noticed it was the radiator cap. after opening it (no pressure) i has only water in it. so i bought coolant and today i am going to buy a new cap and i wana put a thermostat in it but i wana run a 180* but i dont know if it will mess with the running condition due to the fuel injection and computer sensors and what not.

just wondering your thoughts on what temp stat to run. do you think this will help my guage after coolant flush stat and new cap ?

Why do you want to run a 180? Don't change things just to change them...

i will just use the stock 195.
