I found these really nice rims when I was at Firestone a few days ago

Dead Link Removed

American Racing Maxim's the picture they had in the book was a Chevy Avalanche with these and they just blew my mind....

The problem is....they only make the GM 6 Lug for these wheels.....would it be possible to get some type of lug adapter so that I could have these wheels?

i would NOT use a lug adapter if i were you...for the same reason i would NOT use wheel spacers (i actually used to have spacers, and after 5 days, they were gone for good.) ive posted many many times, with lots of info on this, so you could try a search for it, since there so much controversy surrounding this topic, itll take me 3 weeks to try to retype it all

Don't do it, just find another rim that you like in a 5x4.5 bolt pattern. The extra money spent on adapters will only cause more problems.

I was told by an adapter dealer, I think its performancewheel.com, that Explorer's are hub centric and most adapters are lug centric. I was told that this would cause serious vibration problems. Sorry dude, I was trying to go for some 5x135mm pattern myself.

I was thinking of getting some 1" wheel spacers for the rear to push them out to the wheel well edges. But after searching, Look I use the Search feature! I have decided not to use them. Oh well.

I actually found a place that makes hub-centric wheel adapters they said they can guarantee there would be no vibration and they are very safe for our explorers.
