could this be the sign of a bad tie rod?

T

When I turn to the right, the right front tire howls...when I turn to the left, nothing.

I also noticed a wobble at 60mph or more. When I first put these tires on, I noticed a clunking, which went away once I adjusted the torsion bars. I think the heavier tire has caused the tire rod to show its wear.

The front right tire looks like its scrubbed in a different direction than the left front. Like its being dragged

this could be my whole problem, if I am right

what is the test for a tie rod again? pull back and forth on the tie rod?

come on now...I know some of you know the answer

:)

any insight would be appreciated before I go buy parts I dont need

Yep jack it up and grab the wheel at 3 o'clock and 9 o'clock and see if there is any play, it could also indicate a bad bearing.

No Sir!

if its that little bearing that goes inside when you mount a wheel ... I can change that. Thats easy. I watched them do it when I had my tire changed

Yea check it first make sure the races are ok dont put a new bearing in a bad race.
I bought my sport and the front end was bad I changed everything I did the bearings last.

its the "cup" the bearing rides in, its pressed into the rotor.

just bought a new bearing form rock auto...like $7...I am just going to change it this weekend. An surprises I should know when I do this?
