Hey,

Have a 2000 Explorer SOHC with 225KM on it.

A few things have popped up recently..

The e break light has come on, it has never been used since it is seized... I have moved the pedal up an down just enough to engage and disengage what looks to be the dash light momentary switch under the pedal and it isn't changing anything...

Also while opening and shutting the drivers door the interior lights will go on and off at will. When I pin the door open they stay on. I pulled the little rubber boot off the plastic connector that is attached to the door, between the car and the door and wiggled the wires but nothing appeared to change.

Where is the switch that tells the lights to turn on?

Also the rear wiper sticks some times but start going with a decent wack..

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Check your brake fluid level. If it's low, that light comes on as a warning.

The switch is built into the latch assembly. Try spraying a bunch of WD40 in the latch mechanism thru the slot where the door lock engages the door lock post.
