my gas pedal is really loose and i've been tring to tweek it to tighten it up so that im not flooring it to get it going. it's already almost touching the floor.
any ideas to fix that?

2nd question: how big of tires can i get on a 1.5 or 2 inch lift?

3rd: what shock is everyone running? im looking at getting new shocks but i don't want to buy something thats no good.

1. Use the zip tie method. I got info. on it from a search on this forum. Basically take up the slack in the stretched throttle cable by using a few zip ties behind the accel. pedal. Then take off the air intake hose so you can see the throttle body and get someone to floor it (with the truck turned off) to make sure the fin goes horizontal so you get wide open throttle.
2. Someone just posted a link to a thread recently.
3. I'm convinced that mine are orginal still!!! I'm in dire need of new ones but haven't had the time to battle the rust to get them off so no input here from me yet. I've just put Edelbrock IAS Performer's on my other truck nice street ride, Bilsteins are also good. Rancho's, etc. lots of info. on them on here.
Hope this info. helps!

big help. thanks i searched through the site a little closer now.
