2017 PIU
I have a 2017 PIU that is in dark mode. It's a PIA to see anything when I start her up in the morning and I would actually like the courtesy lights to come on with the key fob. My version seems to have an aftermarket button just below the headlights knob that darkens everything in the car if pressed. That's enough for me.

Does anyone know how to turn on the interior lights when the key fob is pressed for unlock?

I have searched this forum and it's all the other way around. I'm new to Forscan but good on electronics.

You'll need to get Forscan on a laptop and a compatible OBD adapter to change the setting in the vehicle menu, so your interior lights come on normally.

I haven't enabled dark mode in mine, no need to. I would think you could change it via easy mode in forscan by clicking disable Dark Mode?

Thank you. I'll try it and report back.
Welcome to the Forum.
If you don't need the Dark Car feature then as mentioned, it can be turned OFF and the interior lights should come ON when the door is opened, assuming nothing else was done to it.

Look at the attached pic.
The button at the left of the round switch will turn the interior lights on and off.
The two buttons to the right of the round switch will make your dash lights bright or dim.
Hope this helps
