crackling in right rear speaker

My '91 explorer's right rear speaker started crackling when I play cd's only. It doesn't do it when the radio is on. I have noticed it is the worst when accelerating and and bump or uneveness in the road. Any help or suggestions would be helpful. oh, and by the way I put a pioneer deh-11 in it last year.

did you bypass the factory amp when you installed the new headunit (if you have a factory amp)?

that seems to be the main cause of most audio problems in the explorer.

the only other things it could be is a bad/loose connection or a prob w/the headunit.
