I am trying to replace crank position sensor on a 98 Explorer 4.0 SOHC. Located it with little difficulty, however I can not figure best way to get to it. Looking at it from above, there is a water pump hose above the CPS, and the serpentine belt looks like it may be an issue regarding access. Is it best to get to CPS from above or below, and what needs to be removed prior to unplugging connector and unbolting. Please be specific. Thanks!
