crankcase vent valve and Vapor Canister Purge Valve

i been throughly checking my intakes o rings and lines for leaks, plus checked the crankcase breather plunger thing, inside it there is a spring with a ball, pushing this with a screwdriver feels weak and doesnt fully drop down, should it be like that? (bottom pic) also the vacum pots shown in pics (top and middle pics), they hiss air from the spout continuasly, should they continuasly do this?

I changed my crankcase breather back in April 2007, because it looked gunged up.

I've got a receipt that I think was for it.

It says;

Hose- connection.

Finis 1024373.

£11.49

It comes complete with the two hoses connected to it.

iv bought one off ebay £13 inc p+p, but did u check to see how strong or weak the spring was inside it?
 






Can't remember. Quite easy I think. How does your new one compare to your old one?
